The Challenge

ErasmusX was a young innovation unit at EUR focused on community-driven and technology-enabled innovation. Being a new unit, ErasmusX struggled with gaining visibility and needed a renewed focus for stakeholder engagement. They started collaborating with the team of the Wheels of Impact to raise awareness about the projects through communication and increase stakeholder engagement.

Our Solution

ErasmusX worked with the Wheels of Impact team to develop and consolidate the online presence of this innovation unit, leading to over 95% growth in online awareness in less than 6 months.

Launched two major online communication campaigns and 8 project-related campaigns focused on engaging the EUR community and ErasmusX stakeholders with a human-centered approach.

Developed different event formats for projects with the goal of community building and stakeholder engagement.

Conceptualized and organized the biggest annual event of ErasmusX, with over 150 attendees and an extensive communications campaign preceding it.

Supported seven ventures under the ErasmusX umbrella, such as the Hefhouse and ACE Yourself app, with stakeholder communication, event management, online engagement strategies, and community building.

The Impact

Engaged over 75 of the most influential ErasmusX stakeholders with the annual event, leading to new partnerships in the university ecosystem.

Professionalized the media production and content capacities by building a team of 6 professionals specialised in different media and communication fields, alongside external collaborators for web development and other media-related activities.

Achieved over 95% growth in online awareness of ErasmusX on channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, or YouTube, reaching over 65k impressions within the first 6 months of our collaboration.
